To compile their first ever national list of culinary superstars, Zagat asked readers to nominate their favorite figures in the food & beverage industry. The list included trendsetters, founders, and up-and-coming standouts from coast to coast.

We stepped in to provide portrait photography of the honorees, visiting them at their restaurants and bars to capture beautiful images of the winners in their element - in 24 cities across 16 US states.
