I am on a never-ending journey of connecting with the depths of people and the depths of the world. With the short amount of time I have to walk through this life, I want to live as fully as possible, love as deeply as I can, and leave a long-lasting impact on this world. Photography has become my way of reaching deep within this world and discovering myself as I do. I couldn't imagine anything else bringing me the fulfillment that photography brings to me.
I discovered my passion for visual storytelling while earning a degree in Creative Writing at Appalachian State University and quickly continued my education at Randolph Community College in Photojournalism.
I have worked for both The Charlotte Observer, The Fayetteville Observer, Rocky Mount Telegram, and am now based in NC as a freelance photographer.
Every project is an adventure to me as I connect with the beauty within people every day and strive to tell the most meaningful, thoughtful stories that I can.
