Adam Bailes is a British photo and video journalist.
He has worked as filmmaker and photographer producing work for television and online news, most recently working in countries such as Yemen, Ukraine, Sudan, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Lebanon, South Africa.
Between 2014 - 15 Adam worked as video reporter for VOA news In Sierra Leone West Africa, before moving to VOA East Africa to cover the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Sudan and South Sudan.
Previous to this Adam worked for Reuters West Africa as there Sierra Leone Video correspondent. Living in the country at the time, he was present throughout much of 2014 Ebola outbreak, producing running content for TV, Photo and Radio news for a number of media outlets. (below)
His significant work also includes documentary films such as Intro the Hot-zone a work for ABC Foreign Correspondent which he shot and produced in 2014.
In 2015 Adam was a selected finalist for the New York Festivals, International Television & film awards for his work reporting on the ebola outbreak, for VOA News from Sierra Leone.
