Adeyinka Yusuf is a photographer with several years of experience photographing a wide range of styles, including street, documentary, events and portraits.
He was born in the late 1989 in Ikeja, Lagos. He took interest in photography in his final year in the university and attended a workshop facilitated by some of the most renowned photographers in Nigeria. After graduating from the university, he began to understudy Bayo Omoboriowo, who tutored him in documentary photography.
He has a knack for capturing arresting images and a particular talent with natural light. With his work, he hopes to change the narratives of his people from the stereotypes portrayed by the Western media. He believes there are aspects of people's life that needs to be documented and as such chronicles the social, political and cultural landscape of his country Nigeria.
He loves capturing candid moments of everyday life and hopes to create a visual diary of his daily encounters in order to portray his own view of reality. He describes his approach to photography as anecdotal and poetic.
