Adrian Portugal

Adrian Portugal is a photographer and filmmaker based in Lima, with a Masters degree in documentary filmmaking at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. His work is included in anthologies of Latin American photography as "Labyrinth of Glances" (Editorial RM, Mexico) and "Dream of the Reason" (Editorial Heavy metals, Chile).
He has published in magazines such as New Yorker, Vice (USA), and GEO (France), and has made three solo exhibitions: "From the red river to the green sea" (Museum of Contemporary Art of Chile, 2014); Iquitos, the house of the god of love (Lima, 2013), and Aguadulce (Lima, 2011). He has participated in 20 group exhibitions.
He is a founding member of the collective Supayfotos, with whom he has participated in Visa pour l'image and Photo-Quai (France), and E-CO / collective Iberoamerican Meeting (Sao Paulo and Madrid) festivals.
