Anna Beeke is a fine arts and documentary photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her MFA in Photography, Video + Related Media at the School of Visual Arts in 2013, and she is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s certificate program in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (2009). Before focusing her studies on photography, she received her BA in English from Oberlin College (2007). Anna has been the recipient of various awards and grants, including the Humble Arts Foundation 2013 WIP/LTI Lightside Materials Grant and the 2010 too much chocolate + Kodak film grant. Her work was selected for reGeneration2: tomorrow’s photographers today in 2009, and for Magenta Flash Forward 2013, and has been exhibited at various national and international galleries and festivals.
