Albert Salamé
Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain
I guess so I can skip all the part that I was born a cold winter night in 1973, so I'll go to the point.
After passing through the faculty of History at the University of Barcelona, I saw clear that in the professional field, I wanted to devote myself to photography. So I studied Image and Sound at the St. Ignasi Institute of Sarrià to 1994.
In those years, digital photography was something distant, so the cost for a youngster like me at that time was unattainable .
Just then, out of school, appeared a new thing called the Internet, and I dedicate myself professionally for many years to manage websites and databases hand Vicent Partal and Assumption Maresma.
Around 2004, tired of being locked in a room of four walls, I recovered my Minolta, seven carts ASA 400 and I went to Belfast (Northern Ireland). I got the worm photography and decided to rehire myself.
I have gone to the media and agencies as Vilaweb and the Catalan News Agency (ACN); the press office of Republican Left; I worked occasionally as newspapers Deia, Gara and Heraldo de Aragón and, at present, working with El Punt Avui (since 2011) and international agencies Notimex (since 2009) and Anadolu (since 2014).
More precise, also with stock agencies and other newspapers, digital or paper and custom covers as the last regional election campaign with "Junts pel Sí" coalition.
If you want anything, please get in touch with me and with coffee before we can speak a thousand stories and projects. Best!
