Alec Kaus is an artist and photographer currently living and working in Maine. In Fall of 2017 he will begin his graduate studies in pursuit of an MFA in Photography at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where he is the recipient of a Graduate School Research Assistantship with the Lamar Dodd School of Art, and the Whitehead Graduate Art Fellowship. He holds a BA in Studio Art from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he served as President of the Fine Art Photo Club and worked as the Gallery Assistant at Prescott Gallery. Recently, he was included in Ironic Methods with Sincere Motivations at Kiosk Gallery in Kansas City, and What Keeps You Up At Night? at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. His work has been exhibited nationally, as well as published online by Streit House Space, FotoRoom, Lenscratch, and Humble Arts Foundation, among others.
