I’m an Australian freelance journalist and researcher based in Los Angeles.
I write news stories, in-depth features and produce videos for publications including the National Geographic, The New Yorker, Harper’s magazine, Literary Hub and Ensia. My reporting often focuses on agricultural communities, immigration, public health and environmental justice.
I am a 2019 UC Berkeley Food and Farming fellow and an alum of UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism where I focused on new media and narrative storytelling. I have reported from places including Southern Italy, Haiti Nicaragua and Kenya. I am fluent in Italian and conversant in Spanish.
