Alexis Haulot
Brussels, Belgium
Born in 1970 to a Belgian Father and a Russian Mother, a journalism graduate in 1997 from the Communications Institute IHECS, I have since worked in turn both as a photographer and as a journalist, for the written as well as the audiovisual press.
In 2002 I took the decision to go freelance, and have committed myself exclusively to photography since September 2003. My favourite image hunting grounds are in and around Brussels, and (when I have time) in Russia. No doubt it is something to do with my genes …
My photos can be found mostly in La Libre Belgique but I have also worked, a.o. with : Le Vif, Moustique, QED, Louvain[s], Tartine et Boterham, Zone 02/, Weekend, Focus, Point de Vue, O2Bikers, Le Soir, Reporters, Isopix, Dargaud, European Parliament, World Economic Forum, Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe, European Wind Energy Association, etc.
