Foyer Pere Frank, Kinshasa
Alfredo Falvo
The Foyer Pere Frank is an open centre where children are free to go for a
wash, to eat, or to sleep. For each child who comes here there is a file with
his age, his place of origin, the reasons for his street life, and information
about his family. Each child receives psychological support
and the centre attempts to reunite him with his family. The centre
provides literacy support, sports and cultural activities for the children.
Children who attend the centre give a hand keeping the it clean and
workable.
