At a memorial service in honor of Staff Sergeant Justin Johnson his son Justin Johnson. Jr., 3, left, visited with Staff Sergeant Willie Foster outside the Regimental Memorial Chapel at Fort Eustis on Friday, July 19, 2013. Johnson was killed in Bagram, Afghanistan, on June 18, 2013. As of June 2014, there have been 3,438 coalition deaths in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Chief Petty Officer Gregory Bell brought his daughter Aniyah Troupe, 6, to the Father-Daughter Ball hosted by The Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Westin Hotel in Virginia Beach. The event was co-hosted by Lincoln Military Housing.
