Amber Fares

Amber Fares is a Canadian-born filmmaker with Lebanese roots residing in Ramallah, Palestine. Her directorial debut short, Ghetto Town premiered at the 2009 Jerusalem International Film Festival and has been shown at film festivals round the world. Amber has produced and directed films for organizations such as United Nations, Defense for Children International, CHF and the British Consulate and shot for a documentary series on Qatar TV. Amber co-founded SocDoc Studios to produce story-driven films that explore social issues.
