London, United Kingdom
Mark Milton co-founded Amberlight partners in 2001 and laid the foundations for what has become the leading service design agency in the UK, discovering and marshalling some of the best talents of the usability and UX industry to deliver innovative design backed by rigorous research.
He took a sabbatical from UX design to complete an MSc in Information Security at Royal Holloway University, where he delivered ground-breaking research into honey tokens.
After leaving academia, Mark worked in India and Singapore as a senior shipping executive for one of the world’s largest shipbrokers where he generated a 300 per cent increase in broker revenues by designing a system to deliver clients actionable shipping intelligence.
Mark has been described variously by colleagues, partners and clients as a man with “an addictive, friendly energy” who can “astonish and delight”. He returned to Amberlight in 2014 and lives his role of Chief Innovation Officer, obsessively exploring new ways of applying design thinking to the market, so that people can save money, make money and be happier.
