I am an Egyptian/Canadian photojournalist, born in 1985. Since 2008, I've been covering news and stories in the Middle East, and in Canada, my coverages in the Middle East include the war in Gaza (2008), the Libyan war (2011), the Egyptian revolution and the Military coup in Egypt.
I have worked for several international news agencies, including EPA, Anadolu news agency and Xinhua. My work has appeared in prominent publications such as the TIME, National Geographic, NY times and many more.
I have also given photojournalism courses at Cairo University, the international Red Cross & FORA along with workshops in Egypt, Austria, Tunisia, Libya, and Canada.
