Amy McTighe

Amy is a writer and photographer who has worked in, reported from and studied the Middle East for the last 16 years in a number of guises; diplomat, researcher, journalist. These days she specialises in Iraqi and Kurdish issues and writes a semi-regular blog on the region. In 2013 she reported for The Times from Syrian refugee camps in Iraq (http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/world/middleeast/article3847410.ece) and has been published in online journal Contriubutoria. She also writes from and about the Caribbean, both politics and travel and is regularly published in local newspapers.
