Ana Palacios is a visual journalist focused on human, animal, and land rights issues with a perspective of "solutions journalism".
Her work has been awarded, exhibited, and published worldwide in media such as National Geographic, 6 Mois, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, New Internationalist, Terra Mater, Days Japan, Al Jazeera, Stern, Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, XL Semanal, El País Semanal etc.
Canon Europe Development Program mentor.
Granted by National Geographic Society and the International Women's Media Foundation.

She has published three books: “Art in Movement” about art as a tool for social change in Uganda; “Albino”, about the skin cancer of people with albinism in Tanzania, and “Slave children: The back door”, which documents how the slave children in West Africa scape from slavery, that is also a large exhibition and a documentary film.
Public speaker for universities, photo festivals, and art centers to instruct, educate and inspire on Human Rights topics sharing personal experiences to relate and bring the reality of how journalism and photography can be a powerful tool to change lives.
