With a background in studio art, photojournalism and documentary film, I'm an editor working across platforms to tell stories that matter.
I am a Photo Editor with ViewFind, a new social platform for photojournalism; Project Director for Family. Life., a global collaborative student project about family sponsored by PhotoShelter, PDN, and ASMP; and Editor of 55 Days, a narrative non-fiction short film about letting go, coming Spring 2015 from Haptic Cinema and Lua Pictures, a boutique post-production studio I co-founded specializing in experimental, evocative, and intimate narrative nonfiction film.
I earned my M.S. in Photography from Syracuse University where I was an Instructional Associate teaching photography and multimedia production to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Graduate Assistant to Mike Davis, Chair of the Alexia Foundation for World Peace.
I began my career as a photojournalist after earning my B.A. with Honors in Studio Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. My work has been recognized by The National Press Photographers Association and College Photographer of the Year. I'm an alum of Eddie Adams Barnstorm XXVI, The Kalish Visual Editing Workshop, and The Mountain Workshops.
I currently reside in a small river town between NYC and Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA with my partner and our pup.
I am a member of ASMP and NPPA.
