My art practice seeks to investigate the rapid changes of our interconnected contemporary society. Inspired by postmodern anthropology, I consider our modern age my ethnographic subject. I work primarily with analog photography, found objects, and historical images.
I’m fascinated with quintessential modern practices and social dynamics such as tourism, the disappearance of traditional ways of life, the increasing influence of digital media in shaping human communication, and postcolonial globalized relations between different countries.
I was born in San Francisco in 1981, and currently live and work in Copenhagen, Denmark.
