Andy McMillan is based in Charlotte, NC. He studied Photojournalism on the Arthur Ellis Scholarship at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. and in 2004 was awarded the Nikon/ Eddie Adams Scholarship at the Eddie Adams Workshop. He has worked throughout Africa, Europe and North and South America for clients such as: Time, Vice, Stern, Fortune, People, ESPN and The New York Times Magazine.
His series, PTL, was shown at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and featured on Lightbox, TIME Magazine’s photo blog as well as the CNN Belief blog. His recent work has focused on the religious landscape of the Southeast or what Flannery O’connor called “the Christ haunted South.” Andy is currently pursuing long-term personal projects and is available for editorial and commercial assignments.
