ANNA BAEZA
Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain
An Art History and Linguistics mayor, I worked in the field of communication and arts management before starting an education as a photographer. I focused on photojournalism at the IEFC (Catalan Institute for Photographic Studies). In 2011, I took postgraduate studies on visual storytelling and multimedia production at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (Aarhus, Denmark), where I attended workshops by international photographers such as Antoine d’Agata or Mads Nissen. I had my work exhibited at the 2007 VISA OFF (Visa pour l’Image) and worked for several media such as El Periódico de Catalunya. As a photo editor, I was co-founder and head-editor of the documentary photography magazine PIEL de FOTO from 2009-2012. Since 2012, I work full time as a freelance video maker together with a team of videojournalists at These Glory Days (www.theseglorydays.org).
