Anna Liminowicz - based in Warsaw (Poland).
Graduate Press Photography at the University of Warsaw and Polish School of Reportage. Freelancer. Social issues are the main focus of her photographic interest. Winner of the Krzysztof Miller Prize for the courage to look ( 2018 ) and she has won two Grand Press Photo awards (2016 and 2014) for her long- term project Between the Blocks . She was a part of DEBUTS album including 36 most talented polish photographers of the young generation (2014).
She is working on and developing three long-term projects: Common space, Between the Blocks, and Painted-over windows of Masuria -nonfiction book.
She also cooperates with NGO's in Poland, makes photography, and writes reportages. She was a part of VII Photo Agency Masterclass in 2016/2017.
Her works published in The New York Times, BuzzFeed News, WELT AM SONNTAG, DOC! Photo magazine, Feature Shoots, Gazeta Wyborcza, Duży Format Magazine, Wysokie Obcasy, Zwierciadło, Wprost, Tygodnik Powszechny.
