Anne Hollande Ullerup
Paris, France
Anne is French-Caribbean and was born in Montmartre, Paris.
Parallel to law studies at the University of Paris she pursued a career as a semi-professional modern dancer.
She worked for more than 20 years as a legal advisor for the Music Industry
Before moving to America, she found inspiration for photography during trips in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. It was the meeting with the Tuareg people in the Hoggar Mountains in Sahara that triggered the wish to buy a real camera instead of disposable cameras. The dream was fulfilled when she left the music industry to move to Washington DC with her husband, a foreign correspondent, in the beginning of 2010. Since then both Denmarks leading newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, and the French Daily Liberation, have published feature stories with many of her pictures from travels all over the USA.
In 2012 she graduated as a professional photographer at the Washington School of Photography in Bethesda (MD).
