I am an award-winning print & photojournalist currently based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I write for various Dutch and international media (including The BBC, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, and De Groene Amsterdammer) about cross-border issues such as migration, climate, and public health. I have held several reporting grants, including from EJC, Robert Bosch Stiftung, FBJP, Free Press Unlimited and the Pulitzer Centre for Crisis Reporting, and was awarded the 2015 Lorenzo Natali Media Prize in 2015.
