Anuar Patjane
Puebla, Puebla, Mexico
Born in Tehuacán, México. He Studied Social Anthropology at Universidad de las Americas and wrote his thesis and a book about tourism impact and identity transformation in Mayan communities in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Started photographing since he was a kid and began photographing professionally while studding anthropology and doing ethnographic fieldwork.
His work has been published in National Geographic and National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast Traveler, Courier de la Serna, Muy Interesante, Unique Magazine, Panorama, Sputnik, Wired, Mental Floss, Practical photography, Shutterbug, Better Photography, The Atlantic, 127 magazine, and many magazines and newspapers around the world.
