I'm an independent multimedia producer that's been dancing between short documentaires, reporting, and commercial work for the past five years. I'm based in Nairobi, Kenya, and direct/produce for Documist. I've focused a lot of my work on environmental issues, but am also very interested in human rights, investigative work, and arts & culture. No matter what story I'm covering, it's all about the human angle. I'm fascinated by the personal motivations driving our lives, and work to build stories around people rather than events.
Shooting on a Sony Fs5 with a metabones full frame adapter (4k, 240 FPS slowmo, 10-bit 4:2:2 in 1080). Glidecam, jib, and tripod available for stabilized movement, and Wescott bi-color battery powered flexlights, Sennheiser ME66 shotgun + wireless lav for audio.
