Alina Rudya

Alina Rudya is a Ukrainian-born photographer, currently living and working in Berlin, Germany.
After receiving MA degrees in political science from the Central European University (Budapest) and journalism from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv), Alina studied photography and visual communication at the University of Arts (Berlin) and Parsons School of Design (New York).
Her photographs have appeared in various publications such as Spiegel Online, VICE, La Repubblica, Better Photography, KyivPost, Vogue Ukraine, LensCulture, Burn Magazine, Mirror Online, the Huffington post and many others. Her corporate clients include Canon and Samsung Mobile among others.
In April 2016, Prypyat mon Amour - Alina Rudya's photo book, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Accident (which was part of Alina's family history) came out in DISTANZ Verlag, Berlin.
