Nathaniel Grann is a photographer, editor, and book designer currently living in Minneapolis, MN. He recently received his M.F.A. in Photography from the University of Hartford in their specialized low-residency program. He has previously worked as an Assistant Photo-Editor and Photo-Technician for The Washington Post and was a Co-Founder of the independent photobook publisher, Empty Stretch. Grann’s photographs and self-published photobooks have been shown widely, including in the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Kolle-Bolle Gallery in Lyon, and The Cleveland Museum of Art. He received his B.F.A. from Corcoran College of Art + Design and has completed courses at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
