Norwalk, CT, USA
For the past 10 years, I have been working as a documentary and lifestyle photographer in Asia and Europe, and in 2016 relocated to Connecticut, USA. For photo editors and corporate clients, I am available for commercial and editorial assignments in the CT, NY and NJ area. Whatever your needs, I work to your brief to create compelling, high quality images that capture the essence of their subject. My work has been published in a broad range of media including The New York Times, International New York Times, The Telegraph (UK), The Guardian (UK), The Sunday Times (UK), Politiken (Denmark), People, Forbes, TIME for Kids, and has also appeared in major photo festivals and exhibitions. For animal lovers and pet parents, I also offer fun photo shoots to capture precious memories, record special events, or simply document the daily life of their furry friends.
I am extremely lucky to have lived and traveled around the world and it was my move to India in 2005 that piqued my interest in animal welfare and the way that 'man's best friend' was treated in different cultures. As a result, I am committed to a long term project documenting the roles of and attitudes towards dogs outside of 'pet culture'. One of these stories, "Hounds of Hope," which captures daily life at the Penang Animal Welfare Society in Malaysia, was recognized in the prestigious World Press Photo Awards 2014.
Prior to moving into photography, I worked for 20 years as a public relations and communications consultant in London and New York City. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society (UK), National Association of Press Photographers (USA), American Photographic Artists, and a regular contributor to Barcroft Images/Getty (international photo news agency). I am also a puppy momma to three beautiful and demanding Indian born dachshunds, Mitzie (9), Monty (8), and Minnie (4).
