Bryan Anselm

Bryan is a freelance photographer based in New York. He works regularly for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and ProPublica while contributing to Redux Pictures.
Bryan covers issues related to human rights, forced migration and health emergencies with an interest in post-conflict recovery in sub-Saharan Africa. He has collaborated with Médecins Sans Frontières, the International Rescue Committee, UNHCR and several grassroots organizations.
His work has been published by Time Magazine, Newsweek, Mother Jones Magazine, The Washington Post, NPR, among others.
Bryan has been awarded by Pictures of the Year International, the Alexia Foundation for World Peace, Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography, among others. He has received a Look3 Leica Scholarship, a NPPA Reid Blackburn Scholarship and was a finalist for a Fulbright Scholarship. His work has been exhibited at Visa Pour L’Image, the London Getty Gallery and Look3's LookBetween.
