He studied at Corcoran College of Art and Design, Washington DC, US for one year and sharpened his interest in journalism photography at Galeri Foto Jurnalistik ANTARA/GFJA (ANTARA – Photojournalism Gallery), Jakarta, a division managed by Indonesia National News Agency.
He volunteered himself for FHI/UNIKA ATMAJAYA to pursuit his personal projects in documenting the IDUs (Injecting Drug Users) at Kalianyar, West Jakarta, and Baladewa, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. His works have been featured in photo exhibitions such as The Jakarta International Photo Summit, Ijen crater group exhibition and ‘Beyond Photography’ – photography arts festival.
His works were also published in various publications, including Analisa newspaper, photobook on The World of Mining, and the magazines of Reader’s Digest Indonesia and DANZ Quarterly – New Zealand Dance. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
