Becky Holladay
Himarë, Albania
I'm a photographer, writer and videographer based in southern Albania.
As a writer and photographer I’ve produced neighborhood profile pieces for The New York Times and Youth Today. I’ve covered breaking news in Palestine and New York City as a videojournalist for Ruptly TV, and I was a photo stringer for the Associated Press in Oklahoma. Other publications include Newsday, the Tulsa World, the Daily Oklahoman, Mondoweiss and Electronic Intifada. More recently, I’ve been writing travel pieces on Albania, the Greek Islands, and the Balkans for various online travel publications.
I'm an MFA candidate in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College, CUNY, in NYC. I graduated from the International Center of Photography's documentary photography program in 2008 and have a BA in Liberal Studies from Cal State San Marcos.
I'm available for assignments in Albania, Greece, the Balkans, and the U.S.
