Benedek Lakatos
Last year marked the 20th anniversary of the massacre in Srebrenica Bosnia-Herzegovina, an ugly, terrific and bloody genocid of Bosniak civilian people that followed the fall of former Yugoslavia. Annually on 11th July Srebrenica Memorial Centre creates an official event where survivors and everyone else may have opportunity to remember to the tragedy Also on the same day identified Bosnian authorities rebury hundreds of identified remains to Srebrenica Memorial Centre. This photography portfolio captures moments of 'Srebrenica 2015 Memorial Day' started on 10th July (official farewell, day -1) until the reburial process and common pray happened on 11th July.
