Ben has traveled the world as an award-winning photojournalist, filmmaker, and educator. He’s captured images for numerous prestigious US publications, taught students from middle schoolers to graduate candidates to tell stories with cameras, and focused on motion picture cinematography.
Ben brings his clients’ visions to life through compelling images. His trademark is vibrant lighting with a focus on striking compositions and the human condition. Ben believes strong visuals should above all serve the story.
Ben studied photojournalism (BA) at the Missouri School of Journalism, and then specialized in cinematography (MFA) at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts.
