I have freelanced shooting photo and video for media companies such as AP, Reuters, AJ, ARD, Arte San Francisco Chronicle, El País, El Diario, and for NGOs and organisations such as Doctors Without Borders, The World Bank or the Dell Foundation.
In 2011 I was awarded with the Ortega y Gasset Prize in Digital Journalism for the multimedia reportage “El criminalista del país de las últimas cosas”. I am the codirector of the short documentary “Las Masacres de El Mozote” Official Selection of the Icaro Centeramerican Cinema Festival and finalist of the research prize IPYS 2012.
In a past life I cofounded PIEL de FOTO magazine and the production company These Glory Days.Parera.
