Photographer and co-founder of Collectif Item. For 15 years, this structure based in Lyon, France, has allowed Bertrand to produce mainly on social and political issues. From 2007 to 2011, the issue of undocumented migrants in France has been central in his work, which has been exhibited at the international photojournalism festival Visa pour l'image and published in a book Des Chiffres. Un Visage (Libel editions).
Bertrand works not only for national and international media, but also for companies and institutions who request his skills. Since 2012, he also uses video and explores multimedia narratives. His multimedia documentary L’Esprit de Gezi has been granted two awards at the Web Program Festival 2015 (Audience and Jury Award, category Features & News)
