Lucy Carolan
Darlington, United Kingdom
I’m an artist-photographer with a broad ranging career spanning over 20 years artistic, community and commercial practice. After graduating with an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art in 1988, I worked in Magnum Photo's London office, then as a researcher on the picture desks of The European and The Telegraph Magazine before moving to France, where I freelanced as photographer 1991-2002. Since co-founding photography collective Wideyed in 2008 I’ve contributed to the management and production of exhibitions and events, completed commissions, managed community arts projects, run workshops, and participated in international arts festivals, fairs and residencies.
My personal work can be found at thelostness.club/lucy and commercial work at boxblind.pictures/lucy
