Brad Horn
Washington, DC, United States
I'm a photographer, videographer, and public radio storyteller. I work at the Washington Post as a video journalist. My visual work has appeared on the websites of The Washington Post (wapo.st/TG9KJ0), NPR (n.pr/XdBTvg), MediaStorm (bit.ly/LDa26t), the AARP Bulletin Today (aarp.us/NlcQTh), and others. My audio pieces have aired on NPR's All Things Considered Weekend (n.pr/NkwiMh), where I worked in 2010.
I've instructed at multimedia workshops given by MediaStorm, the National Press Photographer's Association, Maine Media Workshops, and Syracuse University's school of photojournalism.
I received a Master’s in Multimedia Storytelling from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where I studied under multimedia guru Bruce Strong and taught classes with professor and audio god Doug Quin.
I live in Washington, DC with my wife and daughter. I like hitchhiking, eating pickled foods, talking to plants, and watching Star Trek the Next Generation. I try to embarrass myself at least once a day.
I'm always happy to discuss possible projects—visit BradHornMultimedia.com for contact information. And of course...
