Hong Kong
Over the course of a decade, I've studied and worked in service of communities on the Tibetan plateau. Formerly a PhD student studying the history of Tibetan religious traditions at the University of Chicago, I most recently worked at the University of Virginia Tibet Center directing programs related to cultural preservation, digital technology, and education on the Tibetan plateau and in Bhutan. Photography factored heavily in our work, and I've served as a lead photographer and trainer on a number of cultural documentation projects across the himalayas.
I'm currently based in Hong Kong and working as a freelance photographer and photography trainer.
