I've been a journalist since age 15 and have covered Oklahoma issues for 40 years. A member of the National Press Photographers Association and Society of Professional Journalists, I am a contributor at This Land Press and Oklahoma Today magazine. My work has also appeared in People, TIME, Lonely Planet, AFAR, and numerous regional magazines and newspapers. From 1990-1993, I was part of the scriptwriting team that earned both an Emmy and Golden Georgi awards for Narrative Television Network.
I co-directed a documentary, Lone Man's Land, about the fading hope of Oklahoma ranchers. It premieres in June at the DeadCenter Film Festival.
I live on a farm in Oklahoma with a small herd of goats, a few hairy Scottish cows and some crazy dogs.
