Judy Brown
Natick, MA, USA
Following a career as scientist and educator at Wellesley College and MIT, Judy Brown has concentrated her photographic interests on equine and nude portraits. She is particularly interested in form, texture and interesting lighting angles in images, and her subjects have been chosen for their simplicity and beauty of form. Her "Elliott" series of images of a spirited pony in his stall was given two solo shows in Griffin Museum satellites at Cambridge Homes and Aberjona. Single images from her "Antique Skin" portfolio have been selected for a number of juried exhibitions.
