New Orleans, LA, United States
I am a documentary photographer and photojournalist based in New Orleans, Louisiana working regularly in the Gulf Coast region, New York City, and anywhere else assignments bring me.
More so than a photographer, I feel I am a listener. Photography has taught me to empathize, and it affords me the opportunity to connect with people at an intimate level–this is what I value most. Listening, asking questions, and helping to amplify someone's voice is at the heart of my work . Photographs are the cherry on top, but it's the connections to individuals, cultures, places, and society that drive the work I do.
I am also a founding member of Inspired Storytellers, a creative agency telling stories with a mission for non-profits, foundations, and social enterprise businesses.
