São Paulo, Brazil
I was born in São Paulo, 32 years ago, and I take 35mm snapshots since I can remember. Despite the fact that I have a degree in Journalism and that I enjoy writing, I never really did it professionally. After graduation I have, mostly, struggled to survive in the video editing business until decided to embrace photography as something a bit more serious than a Hobby by the end of 2010. That’s when I bought one studio strobe plus a tripod to use together with the Nikon D60 that my mother brought to herself from China, but never really had the chance to play with it.
Some magazine covers, fashion editorials, equipment upgrades and a couple of important clients live within the pages of my poor portfolio, and, frankly, It has been taking me quite a long time to figure out towards which direction I shall really point my nose. After experiencing illiteracy for almost two years in this town where German speaking is the best way to communicate if you don't master a dialect, I feel like, now that I can figure the basics of the language out, It is time to add some objectivity along these registers of my very personal points of view.
From worldwide conceptual fashion to traditional societies concerns, I am currently interested in registering questions and answers on cultural coexistence during globalization era.
