Capucine Granier-deferre

After studiying Economy and graduating from Icart-Photo School in 2011, Capucine Granier-Deferre start following Gipsies families over several months in Bondy, creating a daily visual testimony on a neglected minority. This work has been featured and published in Paris-Match. She has then covered Elections and Aftermath in Tunisia and Egypt. This work has been shown during Bayeux War Correspondants Festival in autumn 2013.
Capucine Granier-Deferre spent several months in Haïti, witnessing the rebuilding after the earthquake, focusing on Improvement of Islam in the country and drawing a visual portrait of a young Haitian kid.
In September 2012, She has covering the strike and demonstrations of formers Peugeot workers after the shutdown of the main Peugeot factory in France. This work has been featured in Perpignan, during Visa Pour l’Image festival.
Since April 2014, Capucine is covering the conflict in East Ukraine.
Capucine Granier-Deferre is currently working for the main national and international newspapers and magazines.
