Carlos Luján was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1975. He studied Image and Sound and after that, Photography at the school of Arts and Crafts of Valencia. At the present he is working and publishing in several Spanish (El País Semanal, XL Semanal, GEO, Yo Dona) and International (International Herald Tribune, Newsweek, Marie Claire, Financial Times Magazine, OjodePez, GEO Germany, Le Monde…) newspapers and magazines. He has always been interested in working on social themes, realizing several reportages. He has received some grants and prizes which helped him developing his works such as: Grant from the Culture Ministry of Spain for the Spanish School in Paris, Injuve prize of Photography, Art Visual Grants, Nuevo Talento Fnac de Fotografía 2004 (Spain). Carlos is member of the Spanish photo collective NOPHOTO and actually lives in Madrid.
