Annalaura Cattelan

Annalaura Cattelan is a freelance photographer born in Vicenza province, Italy.
In 2018, after graduating in Philosophy and Human Sciences at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, she moved to Milan to study at the "Istituto Italiano di Fotografia". Always interested in portrait and documentary photography, she had the opportunity to develop her photography skills in different areas less familiar to her, such as art and fashion photography and still life.
Right after school she started to work as digital and light assistant and then as photographer for editorial, commercial and reportage shootings. Meanwhile she works on personal documentary projects focused on environmental, social and cultural issues.
On the occasion of the 19th edition of the Ponchielli Prize, in 2023 she received the WeWorld mention for the best photographic project on the theme of women's rights and gender equality with the work “Dreaming of Zeno”.
