Christian Bobst (b. 1971, Switzerland) is an independent documentary photographer and photojournalist who is based in Zürich.. He has worked on stories in Europe, Afrika, Asia, North- and South America. He worked on assignment for magazines and newspapers such as GEO, Stern, die Zeit or NZZ, his pictures were further published in prestigious publications like the Guardian, 6mois, The New York Review of Books and more. 2016 he was among the winners of the World Press Photo Award (2nd prize sort stories). Since 2018 he is an ambassador for Fujifilm.
