In his documentary and travel work, Kansas City, Mo.-based photographer Chuong depicts singular, charismatic moments in everyday scenes. The result of a congenial rapport with his subjects, Chuong's artistic process -- particularly for his portraits and street photography-- reveals spirited personalities in their home environment, whether rural or urban, to capture what Chuong believes is the "truth of the moment, if not the essence of the subject."
