Francesco Millefiori

Francesco was born in 1980 in Catania, Italy. In 2001 he moved to Rome where he studied Psycology. Between 2002 and 2004 he attended the “Scuola Romana di Fotografia” and since that time he focused his work on social issues. Francesco's works have been published by italian and international magazines (such as: "L'Espresso"; "The Wall Street Journal"; "Bloomberg Businessweek"; "IL"-Il Sole 24 Ore; "Die Zeit"; "XL"-Repubblica"; "D-Casa"-Repubblica"; "Io Donna"-Corriere della Sera; "Vanity Fair"; "Wired"; "Gioia") and shown in several collective and solo exhibitions (2006/"Casa delle Letterature" in Rome; 2007/“Fotografia-Festival Internazionale di Roma”; 2009/“Menotrentuno II"-Accademia di Belle Arti in Sassari; 2009/“Sifest, Savignano Immagini Festival"; 2010/Galleria “Contemporaneo” in Venice; 2010/Galleria "Mandeep" in Rome; 2011/“Fotografia-Festival Internazionale di Roma”; 2012/"DIPE" in Dali, China). In 2010 he has been nominated for the Prix Pictet Photography Prize. Francesco works and lives between Rome and Catania.
