Knoxville, TN, USA
I started making photographs in 2005 during a high school photo class, where I got my first taste of film development and capturing images. From then on it's been my dream to shoot for the likes of NatGeo. I graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Media Production, in May 2011. While at ECU, I took my first breaths underwater and was instantly hooked. I was certified by the National Association of Underwater Instructors, or NAUI, as a Scuba Diving Instructor in April 2012. I worked as an underwater photographer/videographer, instructor, dive master, and guide on many islands of the Caribbean and Alaska. In that time I gained knowledge of and first hand experience with the ocean, its inhabitants, and the pollution we've created.
I have ambitions to document, travel, and dive the land and waters of this planet. I'm an experienced camera operator, editor, and director of photography, specializing in underwater and nature imaging. I am currently located in Knoxville, TN seeking challenging and rewarding projects with organizations committed to the conservation of the worlds waters.
I am also a proud member of the Ocean Artist Society.
